This book in the series is a great model to students on how to write persuasively, as well as, being written in a humorous manner.  It would be a great addition to a persuasive writing unit.

  1. Wow, I didn't realize that we are already teaching persuasive writing in the lower elementary grades! Your text set offers a variety of resources that I'm sure would be engaging for students. The one about the pet dog running for mayor seems especially cute! Great post!
