Wow, I didn't realize that we are already teaching persuasive writing in the lower elementary grades! Your text set offers a variety of resources that I'm sure would be engaging for students. The one about the pet dog running for mayor seems especially cute! Great post!
ReplyDeleteI wish I taught writing!! These books and websites are so creative! I know the students would love to have these as mentor texts. Please pass these on to the 1st grade Writer's Workshop teachers because I know my students would adore them! :)
